Fulton Man Charged After Allegedly Pushing Woman Off a Bridge
A Fulton man accused of pushing a woman off a park bridge on Wednesday, April 17, 2024.
48-year-old Timothy Stewart was charged with domestic assault and property damage and trespassing and violation of a protection order on Thursday, April 18, 2024.
According to court records, Fulton police went to Memorial Park around 8:15 on Wednesday morning and found a woman lying in the creek.
The woman claimed Stewart pushed her off the bridge.
She was taken to a local hospital, where she was diagnosed with a spinal and tailbone fractures and a slight concussion.
Two witnesses said they saw Stewart and the victim, who had been in a brief relationship, arguing on the bridge prior to the fall.
Stewart was found at the scene and arrested.
He is being held without bond at the Callaway County Jail.
