One Person Injured in Moberly Shooting
A woman was treated for minor injuries following a disturbance in Moberly on Thursday, March 28, 2024.
Moberly Police officers responded to the 700 block of Franklin Street just before 8pm in reference to gunfire in the area.
While in route, officers learned of a physical altercation at the same house with a man who fled the area on foot.
Upon arrival, officers found a juvenile boy south of the residence.
The juvenile was determined to be involved in the altercation and was detained.
Officers returned to the house and determined that a gun was discharged inside the residence during a physical altercation.
The altercation moved outside, and another gun was discharged.
Four adults and three juveniles were detained and taken to the Moberly Police Department.
The juveniles were turned over to their guardians and the Randolph County Juvenile Office.
The adults were released from custody pending formal charges.
