Paris, MO Man Dies in Columbia Motorcycle Accident
A Paris, Missouri man has died after a two-vehicle crash in Columbia on Saturday afternoon.
According to the Columbia Police Department it happened on St. Charles Road, near Richland Road.
48-year-old Cory Peterson sustained life-threatening injuries and was taken to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
Columbia Police Department’s Traffic Unit found Peterson was driving his motorcycle south on St. Charles Road and failed to negotiate a corner.
Peterson’s motorcycle traveled into the northbound lanes and hit a vehicle.
The driver of the second vehicle was not injured according to police.
