Two Babies and Man and Woman From Paris Injured in Monroe County Accident
Two babies and a man and woman from Paris have injuries following a one-car-accident in Monroe County yesterday afternoon (Friday).
According to the Missouri Highway Patrol accident report it happened on MO 15, 5 miles north of Paris.
A vehicle driven by 25-year-old Jason M. Rieger went off the road, overcorrected, skidded off the left side of the road and hit the ground, and overturned. Rieger had minor injuries.
A passenger in the vehicle 20-year-old Debra A. Shepherd was ejected from the vehicle and taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
Two baby girls – ages 0 and 1 – suffered moderate injuries.
The 1-year-old was taken to University Hospital by ambulance, while the baby younger than one was taken by survival flight to University Hospital.
The driver had minor injuries.
