Mexico Man Found Guilty of Child Sex Crimes

A seven woman, five man jury in Audrain County convicts a Mexico man of multiple child sex crimes Friday.

Following four hours of deliberation, the jury found 36-year-old Gregory Saulnier guilty of rape, sodomy, statutory sodomy, three counts of child molestation and two counts of enticement of a child.

The jury also found Saulnier to be a predatory sex offender, finding prior incidents of molestation had occurred with one of the victims.

The crimes occurred between 2020 and 2021 and involved a girl less than twelve and another girl less than fifteen.

Sentencing is scheduled on March 13th with Saulnier facing a minimum of two consecutive life sentences and a maximum of two life sentences plus 150 years.
