Albert Pujols fans at PNC Park last night were chanting for him to take one last regular season at-bat, but those chants went unanswered.

Most of the regulators on Oli Marmol’s squad had a day off to prepare for postseason play that begins tomorrow afternoon.

The Pirates won last night’s game 5 to 3.

The Royals ended their season yesterday, losing to the Guardians 9 to 2.

That wasn’t all they lost as Manager Mike Metheny and pitching coach Cal Eldred were fired just hours after the game.

The Royals finished the season with a 65 and 97 record.
