Police Still Seeking Suspect in Shooting on Old US 63 in Columbia Yesterday
A 34-year-old man was shot multiple times while driving down Old U.S. Highway 63 Wednesday morning around 11:30. He was taken to University Hospital in critical condition.
By 10pm Columbia Police had identified a suspect and surrounded an apartment at The Links on Clark Lane, believing he was armed and had barricaded himself inside. After three hours, a search warrant was executed and no one was found inside. It is unclear if the suspect was on the premises at any time during the night.
