GM Recalls Almost 500 Thousand Vehicles With Seatbelt Issues
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration says that GM is recalling 484,155 vehicles:
2021-2022 Cadillac Escalades, Chevrolet Suburbans, Tahoes and GMC Yukons that have third-row seats because of a problem with third-row seatbelts.
The administration advised that “dealers will inspect and replace seatbelt buckle assemblies, as necessary, free of charge.”
NHTSA reports the GM “is not aware of any accidents or injuries related” to the seatbelts.
