The Mexico High School boys tennis team lost 7-2 to Hannibal yesterday (Monday).

The Mexico Lady Bulldogs varsity soccer team fell 5-2 to Wright City yesterday (Monday).

The Lady Bulldogs were down 5-0 at halftime. Head Coach Haley Schafer says her team came out with improved energy in the second half. Goals were scored by Estrella Lopez, and assisted by Emily Moppin and then Shelby Kennemore.

The Mexico junior varsity girls soccer team picked up a 2-1 win over Wright City.

The Mexico soccer girls head to Kirksville tomorrow night (Wednesday) to play their North Central Missouri Conference opener.

Mexico High School baseball is on the road for a North Central Missouri Conference game against the Kirksville Tigers tonight (Tuesday).

Mexico will look to improve their record to 5-1 on the season.

The St. Louis Cardinals lost 2-1 to the Houston Astros in Spring Training yesterday (Monday).

During the game Albert Pujols was introduced as a Cardinal again.

Jordan Hicks pitched in relief for the Redbirds in the 6th inning and averaged 99 miles per hour.

St. Louis is off today (Tuesday) and will play the Washington Nationals tomorrow (Wednesday).

The Kansas City Royals blasted the Cleveland Guardians 19-9.

Zach Greinke picked up the win for the Royals.

Kansas City improved their Spring Training record tot 6-3.

The St. Louis Blues beat the Vancouver Canucks 4-1 at the Enterprise Center last night (Monday).

Vladimir Tarasenko scored twice and had an assist to reach 500 NHL points for the Blues.

With the win St. Louis moved into third place in the Central Division, one point ahead of the Nashville Predators.
