KWWR Sports Report 2/21/22
The Mexico Bulldogs boys and girls varsity basketball teams will play their final home games of the regular season tonight against the Macon Tigers.
The varsity girls game tips at 6:15 with the boys game to follow.
The Missouri Tigers men’s basketball team fell just short in a 58-56 loss against Mississippi State at Mizzou Arena last night (Sunday).
The game had 7 lead changes and nine ties.
Senior Javon Pickett led the way offensively for the Tigers, scoring a game-high 16 points.
The Mizzou men will remain at home for its fourth game in 7 days as they host 16th ranked Tennessee tomorrow night with a 6pm scheduled tip.
The Missouri Tigers women’s basketball team defeated Mississippi State 76-66 yesterday at Mizzou Arena.
The Mizzou women improved to 17-10 on the season.
