The St. Louis Cardinals defeated the Minnesota Twins 7-3 at Busch Stadium yesterday (Sunday).

Yadier Molina collected career hit number 2,074 and surpassed Albert Pujols on the Cardinals all-time hits list.

Molina is now number 4 on that list.

The Cardinals took 2 out of 3 from the Twins and picked up the series win.

St. Louis is off today and will host the Atlanta Braves tomorrow at Busch.

The Kansas City Royals lost 5-1 to the Toronto Blue Jays.

Royals starting pitcher Brad Keller was pulled with lower back tightness after just 3 innings.

The Royals were swept by the Blue Jays in the 3 game series.
