The Mexico Bulldogs Baseball Team will host the Hannibal Pirates in a North Central Missouri Conference game tonight.

Varsity starts at 5 with JV to follow.

The St. Louis Cardinals lost to the Washington Nationals 3-2 on the road last night (Tuesday).

Cardinals reliever Giovanny Gallegos gave up a bases loaded walk in the 8th inning to put Washington ahead for good.

The Redbirds fell to 8-9 on the season and remain in third place in the National League Central Division.

The Kansas City Royals were defeated 14-7 by the Tampa Bay Rays at the K Tuesday night.

It was the first series loss for the Royals this season.

Royals starting pitcher Brad Keller allowed 5 runs and made it through only 1 and 2/3 innings.

The Royals are still one game over .500 and sit atop the American League Central Division.
