The Mexico Lady Bulldogs will start District play tonight against the Moberly Lady Spartans at the Mexico High School.

The Lady Bulldogs are the number 1 seed while the Moberly Lady Spartans are the 4th seed in the district bracket.

Mexico received a first round bye, while Moberly defeated Hannibal on Saturday to advance to the semifinals.

The Mexico School District has also announced the COVID-19 risk level is at a level green, which will allow for the first time in many months the District games to be open to all general admission.

Face masks will be required.

Tipoff is at 6pm.

Mizzou Women’s Basketball earned a statement win in the final game of the regular season, dominating Mississippi State to the tune of 77-57 yesterday (Sunday) on the road.

Mizzou now turns to postseason play as the Tigers head to Greenville, South Carolina for the SEC Tournament.

The Tigers will be the 10 seed in this season’s tournament and will open against the 7 seed Alabama on Thursday at 5pm.
