No Make-Up Date Yet for Friday’s Mass Vaccination Clinic at Mexico Memorial Airport
Audrain County leaders and health officials meet to discuss COVID-19 concerns and share updates.
The Audrain County Health Department reported in the virtual meeting today (Wednesday) that they do not yet have a make-up date for the mass vaccination clinic at the Mexico Airport that had been set for Friday, but hope to have a new date in place by the end of this week.
Administrator Craig Brace reported that the CDC allows 6 weeks between the first and second doses of the vaccines.
Missouri Military Academy officials report that their modified contained campus will remain in effect through the end of the academic year and that Spring Break will be at the end of March, coinciding with the Easter holiday.
The Arthur Center is in the process of reaching out to convenience stores, WalMart, and schools to provide vaccinations to their employees that meet the state criteria.
The City of Vandalia has re-opened their City Hall and have now had City Council meetings open to the public.
