The defending Stanley Cup Champion St. Louis Blues were knocked out of the playoffs by the Vancouver Canucks 6-2 last night.

This year the Blues were the only top-four seed in the Western Conference to be eliminated in the first round.

The St. Louis Cardinals lost 4-2 to the Cincinnati Reds at Busch Stadium last night (Friday).

The Cardinals did not have any errors in five games in three days at Wrigley Field.

The team has now made 4 errors in 2 nights in their return to Busch Stadium.

The Kansas City Royals defeated the Minnesota Twins 7-2 at Kauffman Stadium.
