Columbia Police Ask for Public’s Help in Finding Homicide Suspect

Columbia Police are asking for the public’s help in finding a suspect from a homicide on Saturday.

Police say Marlin Cortez Johnson is considered armed and dangerous, and is a suspect in the homicide of 38 year old Sturgeon man Joseph Hecht.

Johnson is described as a black man, 5’10, 160 lbs., and has tattoos on his left shoulder and right forearm.

Anyone with a tip as to his whereabouts is asked to call CrimeStoppers.
