Boone County Sheriff’s Office Identifies Man Found Unresponsive in Roadway

A man found unresponsive and later pronounced dead on Saturday night at the University Hospital is being identified as 39 year old Anthony G. Lockwood of Columbia by the Boone County Sheriff’s Department.

According to reports, deputies found Lockwood unresponsive shortly before 7 on Saturday night in the roadway on West Sycamore Hills Road.

The death investigation was determined to be a homicide.

44 year old David E. Myers was arrested yesterday (Sunday) morning on 2nd degree murder charges in connection with the incident.

The investigation is continuing.
