Governor Parson COVID-19 Update
Missouri Governor Mike Parson is saying that it could be sixty to ninety days before the state is past the worst of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Parson made the remarks at his daily press briefing yesterday (Monday) afternoon.
Parson says he hopes to get new data and statistics on the virus by mid-April.
A waiver is also being granted by the governor that will allow doctors licenses in another state to provide in-person and telehealth care.
Nurses are not included in the waiver.
Missouri is part of the Nurse Licensure Company, which allows nurses with a multi-state license to provide care across state lines.
