Deer Harvest Numbers Released

The preliminary numbers are in from the Missouri Department of Conservation on deer harvest for last year.

Statewide, more than two hundred eighty five thousand deer were taken by hunters.

The top 3 counties were Franklin with 6,248, Callaway with 5,703, and Texas with 5,157.

The total for Audrain County was 2,223 and Boone hunters bagged 3,407.
