Armed Robbery At United Credit Union Columbia Branch

Columbia Police are investigating an armed robbery at the United Credit Union branch on Falling Leaf Lane.

According to Columbia PD, they responded to the facility at 4:40 yesterday (Tuesday) afternoon.

The suspect, described as a black male between 5 feet 10 inches and 6 feet tall, wearing blue jeans and a hoodie covering his face, entered the credit union and displayed a handgun.

He left traveling west on Falling Leaf Lane in a dark colored sedan with an undisclosed amount of cash.

President and CEO of United Credit Union, Brent Sadler, says “we are very grateful that our staff and members are ok”.

The investigation is ongoing.
