Audrain County Ambulance District Looking For New Director

The Audrain County Ambulance District is looking for a new director.

According to meeting notes on September 26th, the Audrain County Ambulance Board moved to investigate allegations of Audrain County District employees.

A special meeting was held by the board this past Sunday, December 8th where a vote was taken and approved to offer director Kevin Cash a severance package of $150,000 dollars that included 6 months of insurance.

Bill Friday, Chairman of the Audrain County Ambulance District would not comment on the incident other than to say the board is currently running operations and a search is ongoing for a new director.

Cash was with the ambulance district since 2009 and was the director since 2013.
