Governor Parson Talks About Plan For More and Better Jobs In Sedalia
Governor Mike Parson is saying he has a plan for more and better jobs in the mid-Missouri.
The governor made a speech at the State Fair Community College in Sedalia yesterday (Tuesday).
A $500,000 grant is being given to the college from the Missouri Department of Economic Development, in partnership with the city of Sedalia.
The state also approved $250,000 in neighborhood assistance tax credits for the school’s foundation.
The funds are expected to help expand the school’s workforce development programs and have a direct benefit for students with low and moderate income.
