New Charges Brought Against Women Accused In Death Of Four Year Old Boy

New charges are being brought against Quatavia Givens in the case of the death of 4 year old Darnell Gray.

Givens was originally charged with child abuse resulting in Gray’s death, however last week prosecutors updated the charges to involve 2nd Degree Murder.

Gray was reported missing on October 25th, 2018 while in the care of Givens, his body was found several days later.

An autopsy revealed the boy died from blunt and sharp force trauma.

Givens next court date is scheduled for June 29, 2020, with the new trial starting July 13th.
