Multi County Chase And Arrest

A St. Peters man is facing several charges after taking authorities across multiple counties during a chase in a stolen vehicle.

According to the Callaway County Sheriff’s Department it happened on Monday night at County Road 211 and US Highway 54 intersection in Kingdom City.

Deputies say they tried to stop 27 year old Robert Roberts, after it was determined he was operating a stolen vehicle.

Roberts lead Highway Patrol troopers and deputies in a pursuit that went eastbound on US Highway 54 into Mexico in Audrain County and then went westbound onto US Highway 54 back into Callaway County.

Investigators say that Roberts was eventually caught on South US Highway 54, south of State Road B in Auxcasse.

He is currently booked into the Callaway County Jail and is being held without bond.
