Jefferson City Public Schools Investigating Child Left On Bus Incident

The Jefferson City Public Schools are investigating a incident where a student was left on a bus.

The school released a statement yesterday (Thursday) and said it was made aware on Wednesday that a student had not arrived at school and later found the student had not made it off the bus during morning drop-off.

Officials say the student was not hurt.

School officials say the district is investigating to see what changes may be necessary.

According to a school spokesperson employees involved in the incident will no longer perform duties for the Jefferson City Public Schools.
