Teen Found With Gun Shot Wound In Columbia

A Columbia teen is recovering from non-life threatening injuries after being shot last (Tuesday) night.

A 16 year old was found with a gunshot wound at the Break Time convenience store on Smiley Lane and was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

Shortly before that police say they responded to Bodie Drive and Edenton Boulevard for a report of shots heard.

An investigation is underway on both incidents to determine if they are related to each other.
