Jefferson City Police Investigate Two Separate Shootings

Jefferson City Police are currently investigating two separate shootings from last (Monday) night and early this (Tuesday) morning.

Police say around 6:08 last (Monday) night they received several calls of a person being shot in the 1900 block of Stadium Boulevard.

The victim was a 19 year old Jefferson City resident who was found dead at the scene.

Witnesses tell police 3 black men left the scene after the shots were fired.

Officers are still trying to locate the 3 suspects.

A second incident happened early this (Tuesday) morning in the 500 block of East Elm Street where a 20 year old woman was shot once in her right shoulder after a domestic dispute.

She was taken to the University Hospital for treatment.

Police say that 21 year old Quency Floyd of Jefferson City has been identified as a suspect however has not been arrested at this time.
