Multi Vehicle Traffic Accident Causes Delays in Jefferson City

US 50/63 near Eastland Drive in Jefferson City is back open after a multi vehicle accident caused delays this (Wednesday) morning.

Jefferson City Police report it happened around 5:45 when a scooter was hit from behind by a 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee.

The driver of the scooter was taken to University Hospital with injuries.

It took around an hour and a half to clear the scene.
