Four Vandalia Residents Injured in Pike County Car Accident

Four Vandalia residents have injuries after a one car accident in Pike County.

According to the Missouri Highway Patrol it happened late Monday night on Highway 54 East of Route E.

A vehicle was going westbound went off the right side of the road and when the driver overcorrected it went off the left side of the road and overturned.

47 year old Dennis E. Jordan and 43 year old Marietta M. Martin were taken by air evacuation to Mercy Hospital in St. Louis.

22 year old Caribian M. Martin and a six year old girl in the car had minor injuries.
