Shepard Boulevard Elementary School will have a new principal for the upcoming school year.
According to Michelle Baumstark with Columbia Public Schools announced today [Tuesday] Jill Edwards is to be recommended to the Board of Education.
Edwards has served as the assistant principal at Alpha Hart Elementary since 2012.
She is replacing John Ellison who is taking another position within the district.
