A motorcycle rider was killed in a crash early yesterday morning. [Sunday]

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 21 year old Dylan Faust of Hannibal was riding his motorcycle on Missouri 168, 4 miles east of Palmyra, when he ran off the right side of the road and overturned.

Faust was ejected from the bike before he and the motorcycle collided with a tree.

The Highway Patrol says the exact time of the crash is unknown.

Faust was pronounced dead at the scene.
