A Jefferson City woman is recovering from serious injuries after a 1 car accident in Moniteau County yesterday (Thursday) afternoon.

According to the highway patrol it happened on U.S. 50 Westbound, five tenths of a mile east of Weineke Branch Road.

Patricia A. Slater went off the road, hit a rock bluff, overturned and was ejected. Slater was taken by the staff for life to University Hospital in Columbia.
