A traffic stop in Fulton leads to the discovery of drugs and and an arrest.

According to Fulton Police officer’s stopped Mathew Hoppe at U.S. Highway 54 and Route F around 11:30 last (Thursday) night.

Police say Hoppe gave a false name and information at first but they were later able to identify him.

After a search of the vehicle police report finding meth, paraphernalia and several items consistant with the sale of narcotics.

Hoppe also had outstanding warrants out of Boone, Cole, and Cooper Counties.
